Just wanted to let you know I completed this item. The zebrano is real (shipped from africa) (base is ash) and going in the correct direction. Clear is professional airline and not rattle can. Again Ill post on the For Sale side but I'm just happy....3 months to get this correct.
it fits under Arm Rest........you will have to come up with the long straw!!

how well can you make the zebrano for the cup holder match the original zebrano?

is there non-slip suede/other on the cupholders' base?

what size is the cups' diameter?

It's pretty close. If its too bright it dark. Send it back with a piece of your wood and ill replace it with a matching one. If you send if with other pieces I can refinish them also and make the whole car clean. Cup holders 3 inch...holds a soda can tight.

I'm very excited about this product and would like to order one for my 1983 300d (w123). Two days ago, I made a corner and spilled half my coffee onto my lap from the cup holder hanging from my door. There's a guy on Etsy selling what looks like very nice cup holders for various Benzes. I ordered one for the 116, will report back on quality and fit.

Received it today after some delays. Nicely made and fits the center tray quite well. I find the cup holders themselves a tad large but I guess for you guys in "big gulp land" it'll suit larger cups. For example a Tall Starbucks cup is a bit lost in the cavity but not too bad. Colour match is tricky but I knew that going in so if you need a perfect match to your existing wood might need to taper your expectations. It's hollow so nice and light. I'll post a pic in due course Also you cannot have the armrest fully down even without cups as it comes up a tad high. The seller is "justacarpenter" on Etsy.
