Is there supposed to be a beep or horn sound when you activate the alarm?
Does the cigarette lighter light ever turn off?
Can the yaw of the doors be adjusted?
Whats a m112 engine bay supposed to sound like?

why doesn't tarzan grow a beard?:D

-no beep in your car when you lock/unlock doors.
-yes, the cigarette lighter clicks off when in gets hot enough than it immediately starts getting cold.
-what does yaw mean? (sorry, english is not my first language)
-should sound pretty smooth. why don't you post a video of your engine running so members can let you know if yours sounds ok.

yaw means the hinges of the doors need to be lubricated. right ?

The problem with my doors is that I have to swing them really hard to shut them or they don't close all the way.

Ooh 1 more thing...

When I open the gas tank to my toyota I hear and smell the gas pressure come out but on this benz I don't hear any pressure coming out. Is that normal?

Wow thats a real major huge big problem. I would not use the doors. I would climb in through the sun roof.

I thought you drove a diesel---not smelling gas is a good thing.

Regarding the tires. I would fill them with cement then you will never get a flat.

It sounds like the door hinges or latches need to be adjusted. Has the car ever been in an accident?

Same for my Toyota but remember these Mercedes have an evaporative cannister that traps the fumes. There is never any pressure coming out on mine.

I sometimes hear creaking when I open/close the drivers side door. i tried WD40 and didn't help much.
The creaking is probably the "door check strap". When those get noisy you have to replace them. That's in quotes because I'm pretty sure I'm using the wrong terminology.

Yes my car was in a front collision. The passenger side door does actually creaks but all the doors require me to "slam" them to get them to shut properly.

that's normal. all mb's are like that. my s320 has automatic closing doors, all i have to do is make contact with of the door with the body frame, and it will close by itself. same with the trunk. but i think this feature is only on s-class, never seen an e-class with that feature.

Open a window and see if you still have to slam the doors. The doors require a deliberate closing action due to the tight sealing of the passenger compartment, but not a real slam like the old pickups.
Gas tank fumes are absorbed in the charcoal cannister and recycled into the engine via that little black thingy in the engine compartment marked 'MOT", so you should never have much of a pressure build-up in the tank. Get rid of the Toyota, it's polluting the air. :D
