[:(]PLease help me!
One day I was searching for the fault code indicator in my 94/95 E220 but in vain. HOwever, I found a round plug in the battery compartment with a wire sealed, and printed" HFM...". I was so curious and cut the seal and pull out the HFM Plug. I did not note the arrow pointing which number on it. When I reinsert the pulg, I found that I can plug in any direction. It seems nothing wrong but psychologically, I felt the engine roar a little bit louder in high rpm.

Please kindly comfort me. [V]

Just checked the Haynes manual saying that is the ignition timing trimming socket (with resistaors to tell the ECL the adjusted ignition time). It aims to suit the fuel type and is sealed.

I just wonder I need a strobe to set the correct number. I am using unleaded fuel here in HK (almost USD $1.7 per litre of gas here !!!)
