Are you using metric or the "only the devil could love" US inch sized washers???

Suggest you use new washers from the dealer , AutohausAZ, germanstar.net, etc.

Sometimes the pump body itself develops hairline cracks which causes a leak that spreads. Seen it especially on cheapo aftermarket pumps.

As far as I remember the fuel lines don't have crush washers? Only delivery valves?
I never replaced those while working on the engine and they don't leak.
I always make sure the washers don't have scratches, or sand them off, use lot of air for cleaning and most of the time double tight them.

I had a fuel leak at the said crush washer after replacing my fuel pumps this spring. It turned out to be a defect in the washer and replacing it solved the problem. New washer BTW.

Well here's their page on washers, the one for the fuel filter is diff from the rest
Your Parts Search Returned 4 Part(s)
The copper crush washers have rings on both sides, once tightened that's what makes the seal, really cant reuse them, tried sanding them lightly to no avail ,wonder if Napa has them?

What do you mean??? MB of Escondido is less than 30 minutes away from you.
I hate driving down that way! If I have to I will or better yet have a friend down there who works in the parts dept ship them to me,rather go the Napa route if they have the size,5 min away, any one by chance know the part#?

I bought my fuel pumps along with the crush washers from Autohaus AZ. I never did used their washers........their washers are smaller (12mm i.d. x 16mm o.d. x 1.5 mm thickness) vs dealer's (12mm i.d. x 18mm o.d. x 2 mm thickness.

The dealer/stealer also charged me $2.50 ea (list $4.25 ) vs AZ .24

On my fuel pumps (oem Bosch), the washer between the pump and the check valve (10 mm i.d. x 15mm o.d. x 2mm thick) is smaller than the ones at the banjo location.

BTW: fuel filter use the same size washers as the fuel pump at the banjo. Part #007603-012110

Go to the dealer and than go Mi Pueblo in east part of the city to pick up hot bunnies and very cheap and tasty fruits and vegetables. I was buying juice-grade oranges for 6 cents a pound.
I don't hesitate to drive 550 miles on any business excuse because just the price difference on groceries covers the fuel cost. Bay Area is pretty expensive to live in.
After shopping you can stop across the street at Town buffet with excellent steaks and seafood. I think weekday price is around $10 for dinner.

Why not just order from your friend at MB Escondido and have it shipped since you don't want to drive 30 minutes???

Yes, you'll pay a bit more but at least you'll be getting the exact crush washers you need.
