The clock is changed via the knob on the right side of the instrument cluster. The knob on the left resets the trip odometer. You can order an owners manual from Mercedes (Part No. S-6550-5588-13), although I have seen them for sale on E-Bay. The cruise control is operated by the stalk on the left of the steering wheel. Push up to actuate and to accelerate. Push down to decelerate. Push in to disengage and pull forward to resume. Instead of replacing the dashboard, consider a Dashtop from Palco, that glues onto the top of the old dash for about $100. The only drawback is that you will have to trim holes for the speakers since on the 85, they are accessed from the top of the dash.
