My ABS light is staying on and I noticed the other day my cruise control is not working either. I have checked the fuses, all OK and the OVP relay was replaced a couple of months ago. I did this because my ABS light wasn't always going out. Now it comes on after a minute or so of driving. Are the 2 problems related or do I need to look in different places?
Thanks in advance.........

Hi supersport6,

Yes, they are related. The Cruise gets its signal from the speed sensor in the rear end. The ABS gets signals from the wheel sensors at the left & right front wheels and from the sensor in the rear end.

Are the brushes OK in your voltage regulator?... Is the battery voltage 14v?

Are all the tires the same size on your car?

More questions... MBL

MBL is on correct..one thing though, did you replace your OVP w/ a genuine bit or was it made by KAE?

I'd start by removing your front wheels and cleaning the senors/sensor teeth, and then remove the sensor from the diff and give it a clean. If that doesn't work you'll most Likely need a new sensor or two.. On occasion I'll see the ABS computers go..
