I just replaced the three belts in my 1980 300D (what an adventure!), and now I notice that the power steering pump (which must be moved when changing the belts) is crooked. It's angled towards the engine. I think I remember it being somewhat crooked, but I don't know if this much. When I checked the power steering fluid level, it looked like it was almost going to pour out on one side. Does anyone else have a crooked p/s pump? I looked in my Haynes manual and the picture they have is kind of crooked also.
