My guess for the damage is this thing you call 'Valet Parking'? in the States. Perhaps this is why Valet Parking has not really taken off here in the UK!

Actually that is a new color MB is testing called Marbled Chocolate Metallic. For those who don't like to wash it does a much better job of hiding dirt and road film than Iridium Silver.

Any idea one can physically locate some of these crashed SLK55s ? I am in need of a fog lamp lens because it is crazy to pay $180 to replace the whole lamp when I need only the lens. []
