Don't blame the turbo yet. Borrow a code scanner and see what's stored. If you plug in an OBD reader while its running it should spit out a CPS code, or a TPS or whatever even if there not stored
If this just started (like it wasn't doing this prior to being left sitting) it's cause might depend on overall car condition and area climate.
Things to look at (if no codes ); plugged fuel filter or a soon to be screwed fuel pump. It could even have water in the fuel.

I'd also check for codes. Then I'd pull the intake and inspect it to be sure fowl or vermin haven't built a nest in there, it happens a lot.

Hary - im surprised YOUre saying NOT to blame the turbo lol ...thanks for the suggestion guys..ill be sure to borrow one from someone and start from there....its just weird how it was COMPLETELY fine until i didnt drive it for those 2 or so months and this suddenly started occurring out of nowhere

I had a similar problem way back a year and a half...maybe longer, I thought it was the crank position sensor, but it turned out to be the fuel pump.
I had my mechanic check it out and replace the fuel pump and everything was back to normal. Just something to keep in mind in case it turns out not to be the CPS.
Any new modifications to your car? Cosmetic, or otherwise? You've been off this site longer than I have.
would it be the same exact symptoms? did it occur randomly and almost suddenly? shuts right off after cranking on? and if you get it on, stalls out at idle?
nothing new on the car..that turbo bs really fkd me up and made me lose my car...i probably put 8k miles over the last 3 years (if even) because its barely been running..new problem after new problem all related to the turbo ...i DID get some boost finally right before this problem though...40hp to the wheels at about 3psi i think...but it really needed a good tune....i was gunna get back to working on it but the car sat for a while when i had a big admissions test to study for and now this bs...
The suggestions above are all good - I went through those a few months ago. My issue with your same symptoms was a loose ground cable at the battery terminal. In fact, while it appeared fairly tight, the clamp (off the - was not stock) was cylindrical, whereas the battery terminal is slightly tapered. This made for a poor/loose connection that miffed me in what was going on (had the car towed out of my garage to the shop, only to start off just fine off the flat bed). A quick check; just my 2 cents of input.
were the symptoms the same though with the stalling as well? all battery cables look good...i even used the MB roadside for a jump since the battery died recently from sitting even MORE and they didnt notice anything off with the terminals....he said it could be a dead cell (or multiple) thats causing it but then i mentioned how it stalls at idle too and he said that may be something with air or fuel delivery (aka turbo related is what my head thought)
