Hey Guys. I noticed that when I unlock and/or open the doors to my S500 the courtesy lights do not go on. All my fuses are intact. Does anyone know if I've overlooked anything or the source of this problem (i.e. a specific relay perhaps)?
Yes, you have overlooked the switch position for the interior lights on your overhead console. Your owner's manual addresses the effect of the three different positions.
Thank you for your response. That's the first thing I did, the switch position of the interior light and it is in proper position. Also I checked fuses f13, f39, f72, f74 and they're all OK. The head light ON buzzer alarm does not work as well which I think they're all related to one issue. I need help to tell me where else to look.
Hi, Skylaw, you were right ,I did overlook at switch position, i read the owners manual and able to have it work accordingly. but still my head light ON buzzer alarm does not work. any suggestions? if buzzer if broken, any idea where is located and how to replace it .it is important because it can led to dead battrey .
I don't know just where the warning buzzer is; but using your multifunction display you can set the headlight off delay to zero, so they turn off immediately when you shut down. That will help until you can address the buzzer problem.
