1) What are the sizes of the front and rear speakers?
2) Do you know if the speakers are 2 ohm or 4 ohm?

5 -1/4" front door, I believe

Neither. Bose system are a weird 3 ohms I believe...

How can you tel you have a boss system?

maybe 6...it's something weird. Don't take my off the cuff answer. There's a .pdf floating out there that has the actual impedance.

I'm pretty sure all came with a Bose based system?

I seriously dislike the bose system in cars.

Found this in a different post - I think the tweeters are 1" though-

2 tweeters 5 cm (2 In.) top front of door
2 mid-range 165 mm (6.5 in.) bottom front of door
2 mid range 9 cm (3.5 in.) bottom rear of doors
2 sub Bass 165 mm (6.5 in) in back deck

Welcome to the forum @99 clk guy - please take a moment to visit your forum user's control panel. Go into "Account Settings", then "Account Details". Fill in the information for your "Location" (at least state/country), and your "Vehicle Details" (model and year). Well I just changed my forward right hand door speaker to day on my 1999 clk 320 and to answer an earlier question I read , the 6.5 speaker was definitely a 2 ohm , I am new to this forum but I have read some very informative info so thanks to all of you for the helpful posts .
