Purchased a solder iron from Walmart and took about 1 hour to solder about 3 joints on the FPR board. I even used a clear silicone sealant to seal the box.

In any case, plug the FPR back in and turn the key, it started up right away and reached ideal idle right. Don't need the second crank nor did the engine puffed at 300 RPM for the first 20 second.

Could it be that my hard start problem is actually coming from a weak fuel pump due to a poor connection in FPR? I have since tried three times now and it starts up right away everytime.

Have my fingers crossed.

A faulty pump relay usually means no start but I suppose anything’s possible, we’ll all keep our fingers crossed; looks like Uwe installed a bad relay…
