I think the diff fluid is one of those 100K items, although G-AMG says he recommends 60K (check his post in the DIYs). To my knowledge mine's never been done.Greg,
What is the recommended service interval for the differential fluid please? Also is there a typical # of miles (or driving conditions) when the flex discs should be inspected?

Flex discs are on the B list of checks (for our cars) IIRC. One of those things I was going to look at when I changed the cats but ran out of time/light/energy as it was. I'll try to remember to charge up the camera and take a few pics if you're interested, that'll be about the most esoteric post ever. Take care and enjoy the ride, Greg
