I am using 205/55/16 winter tires on 16 x 7.5
steel rims with a 41mm offset. I am tired
of looking at the plastic wheel covers.

I am considering getting 4 Mercedes C-class
16 x 7 rims with 37mm offset for use with
winter tires next year. Will these rims work
on the rear of the 2000 SLK 230?

A related question, is can I just use an
extra set of standard 16 x 7 front rims from
an SLK on the rear for winter tires?

Finally, does anyone know if any of the
16-inch wheel covers from Chrysler cars will
fit the 16 x 7.5 steel wheels sold by TireRack?
The Chrysler wheel covers look a lot better
than the aftermarket choices.
