Two questions
1) Can someone confirm the convertible top exterior material? I think it is canvas (vs. vinyl)
and
2) What are people using to treat/protect the top?
Thanks!

The top is Sonnenland® fabric, made by Haartz:

Use a mild fabric cleaner on it. There are some commercially available products like RaggTopp that work well. I would use Griot's Garage interior fabric cleaner and a medium bristle brush. If you want to waterproof it, there are products for that, too. One that I used was Rustoleum's Neverwet for outdoor canvas. It literally makes the fabric impervious to liquids. You can breath on ti and the beaded water will just fall right off.
