Could someone offer some advice on restoring a convertible top. I've done searches on the forum ,no luck. I don't have tears just small leaks through the pin holes in the seams. I thought of something sprayable possibly. Maybe teflon or ????? Its the original top and I'd like to keep it. Also any info on replacing the windows like the way they were done originally by thermo-adhesion not restitchhing.

Any help would be appreciatted.

One of the best is local to you

Contact Chris Laws at Badget Coachworks. He's forgotten more about soft tops for the likes of Land Rovers, Jeeps, etc than most will ever know. He'll have sound advice for you.

But I'll warn you. If you go by to visit, wear some heavy ski gloves or something. If you ever touch the fabric he uses to custom sew soft tops, you'll HAVE to have it. Think mountain cabin tent meets Armani suit. [:)]
