Yup, if it is the typical version, it is an absolute bear to install and there is no guarantee it won't crash at any time. The program was designed for a network server-client structure and isn't happy on XP Home edition or on a standalone PC. I speak from sad experience.
If you try and have the good fortune to get it installed and runnning, it is a copy of what the M-B service shops use (likely a year or two out of date, which doesn't bother R170 owners), so it does contain some valuable info.
However, another thread suggested that a proper service manual is close to release, so I'd suggest waiting if you don't absolutely need information right now.
