Sounds good, but many of us have bought similiar MB WIS programs that do not work. I'm waiting for the "official" MB program for consumers that is supposed to be out soon according to rumors here.

Yup, if it is the typical version, it is an absolute bear to install and there is no guarantee it won't crash at any time. The program was designed for a network server-client structure and isn't happy on XP Home edition or on a standalone PC. I speak from sad experience.
If you try and have the good fortune to get it installed and runnning, it is a copy of what the M-B service shops use (likely a year or two out of date, which doesn't bother R170 owners), so it does contain some valuable info.
However, another thread suggested that a proper service manual is close to release, so I'd suggest waiting if you don't absolutely need information right now.

I have WIS and it works great. I was able to repair my top with WIS. The WIS DVD cost me about $80 bucks.
