Comprehensive Option Code List

And I DO mean comprehensive. If you have that Tadzikistan or Tuvula re-import, are looking for that elusive flag pole option code or wonder if that weird color was something from the factory, it's listed here.

I did NOT compile this list, so kudos go to whoever did, I just made it a bit more readable.

I had to pdf it because it was too large for a txt file.

Note : if mods deem it unsuitable, I'm sure it will be removed in a hurry.

I think that should be added to the DIY section or made into it's own sticky so it's easy to find, or maybe in the Newbie thread. I have the Japanese Code website, but yours is more complete.

We also could use a quick to find/use Dealer Branch code to see where our cars were sold. I have to dig my brains to find the thread that had one sometime ago.
Now that is one complete list!

X2 on making it a sticky, or attaching it to one of the sticky threads.

Great find.

I guess you like option 949U? (on page 84)

Damn!!! Very nice!
linked to the FAQ thread

Thank you for compiling it.
You're very welcome.

I'm thinking of doing a small app that simply allows you to search for a number. Does the forum allow for such gizmos ?
It just looks like this webpage: Mercedes Code Descriptions
Copypasted into pdf format.
Then again, I didn't compare "comprehensiveness".
Either way, it's a pretty thorough website, if I'm missing an option code or want to decode a number, I just open it in a tab and type what I want. Useful.

don't know, probably not. I don't thing the software is all that sophisticated, then I could be wrong.
This appears a bit old. Much of the new electronics and safety equipment are missing.
