Hi Everyone,

I am having issues with my command screen/system. I searched the forums but I cannot find anyone who is having the same issues.

My command screen is opening showing the mercedes symbol(maybe the caution screen) and then closing repeatedly, but only for the first drive of the day(40 min commute to work). After I park it and come back an hour later, everything works fine. I read that this could be an issue with the MOST system but I am on the fence because after the first drive, everything works perfectly fine.

I also checked the battery and alternator which are also good. I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced this before taking it to the dealer.

After pulling the command screen from my dash, I found the fiber optic cable that was going to it was smashed and crimped between the display housing and the dash. I saw a sticker on top of the radio that says the display was replaced in July of this year. I did some research and found that fiber optic cables are sensitive to bending.

After installing the display correctly, I have been problem free for the past week.

There are two wires. One is the fiber optic cable that hooks in at the top in the back and the other is the power which is on the bottom of the unit. The fiber optic needs to be routed through the clips on the bottom of the unit in order to not pinch against anything. It is a really weird issue that hasn't come back yet.

Did you hook your phone up to your car yet? At the same time I did the fix above, I cleaned up the memory usage in my phone, because i read that high usage will cause issues with Command. I really don't know what fixed it to be honest.
