Hi all,
I am trying to work out the part number for the Command unit I took out of my 2009 SL550. See the attached picture, there are 2 numbers A 230 870 25 94 and a HW number of A230 870 05 94.

What I am really after is what interchangeable part numbers there are as I am trying to sell it and I want to see what other models this will work for.

Is my unit the same as the one on this page link or this one? Can someone tell me what other part numbers this is interchangeable with?

The MY2009-MY2012 R230 used the NTG 2.5 COMAND. Both of those you linked look the same. The three part numbers I see in EPC are A2309060500, A2309061400, A2309001100. They are all essentially the same just revised over the years. Note that these units can't just be dropped into another car. They have to be SCN coded, which can only happen once unless someone has a special tool to erase the VIN from the radio's EEPROM. I only mention this because if the buyer doesn't understand that, you might end up processing a refund when it doesn't work.

alexisvx, Since you removed your command system, did you find a more modern replacement? I contacted Seicane about their product but they don't have a version for the 2009 R230.

Thanks Rudeney. So essentially my unit and the ones you mention will all work for 2009-2012 models with the programming you mentioned? Will my part work with SL63/65 AMG, SL 600 for 09-12 models?

Yes I found another system to replace it with and I'll do a post soon detailing what I found and what I did. I got the Kenwood DMX9707S as the multimedia player. In my post I'll detail what other parts I used.
