Comand 2.5 problems
Hi guys,

I have a 1999 S500 L, typically the comand does not recognise cd changer, tape, or phone so i'm guessing its the fibre optic problem that everyone else has had on here.

I have tested the Fibre Optics on the amp and CDC and no problems but i cant seem to find the one for the phone which i think is playing up, Does anybody know where it is located?
And is there anything else on the circuit apart from CDC, Amp, Phone, and if so where is the access to test fibre optics?

Ive found and tested fibre optics for amp and cdc but cannot find telephone module anywhere???

Try the phone bulletin for the '00 S500 at Phone Bulletins

Tried the phone bulletin and they say its locat5ed behind the amp in the boot/trunk.

Someone mentioned it may be under the rear seat but i dont know how to get access??

Also when i checked the fibre optics under the centre console/ arm rest it looked like it may go toward the front right floor pan/dash area?? (msy be to get to module at steering wheel??)

Apparently your car is European specification (something it would have helped us to know). Perhaps some of the Euro experts will be able to help.

Under the rear seat on the right hand side and directly located with the fuse box there I believe.
