Comand instruction manual

I haven't seen an online one, but when I picked my 350 up from Bremen, I did the (well worth while) factory trip the day before I picked my wheels up. I asked them for a command manual for bedtime reading, so now I've got two. If you would like a copy, send me a PM and I can post one to you and let you borrow it.

Thanks for the generous offer. I will be in Bremen on Friday, and basically want to use Comand to get home via Bruges...and would rather spend the spare hours of my first days with the car wining and dining than reading a manual, so I have read the SLK manual a couple of times already.

It will be great actually, I can read the manual on the flight over, which is going to take ages because I am going from Heathrow so I have to go via Frankfurt. I should have started at Gatwick and gone direct. Anyway this will give me something useful to do.

Joyfulheart, when they hand the car over to you, an english speaking tech will be on hand to program the system for you and answer any questions and show you all the functionality!

One further point I noticed - when they set it up for you in Bremen, they select the auto re-route facility (to steer you round roadworks, trafic jams etc.) When I got back to the UK my Nag system appeared not to work correctly. You need to disable this feature for Sat Nag to function ok in the UK (evidently, MB are paying the licence fee for this in the UK sometime this year).

Am also looking for an owner manual for my Comand APS 2,5 in my 350 SLK (My-2009), and if someone has it, Linguatronic manuals also. My car comes from Germany, so it has of course the ownerhandbooks in German ,
