I have just bought my first SL..a 1996 SL500 in a kind of champagne/silver colour with a brown soft top.
Is there anywhere where I can find the numbers sold for the different colours of bodywork and roofs for 1996?
Also, does anyone know what this particular colour (the champagne silver) is called? I live in Switzerland and the Swiss have classed it rather uninspiringly "beige" but I want to show off to my friends with the proper colour name!
