Should be a data plate riveted to the radiator top panel. The 3-digit codes can be deciphered using one of the FAQs.

Or PM me your VIN and I'll look it up using the MB-EPC system on-line.

cloth, leather, vinyl, velour options

I believe first two digits for material, last digit is color

For vinyl material:

151 black
152 blue
153 N/A
154 tan
155 cream
156 olive
157 red
158 gray
159 N/A

color codes

I should have mentioned that my 190D is a Euro; does this change any of the "code stuff?" Thanks.

Nope, the EPC is global. I received your VIN, it does not decode in the EPC. The only thing it knows is that it's a 2.2 diesel.

There are three-digit sets of numbers on the metal plate attached to the upper radiator support: 122, 175, 737, and 355 (the latter two I doubt). Does this answer the color code question? Thanks again.

MBeige: thanks much for your reply. The numbers match for creme beige (which it probably is), but the interior almost looks like 165-parchment. Well, pictures of colors aren't always accurate, plus the fact that the parchment color wasn't used until '93, so I'll go with the creme beige you showed. Thanks again; I appreciate it.
