Allot of people lust after then but i'm curious who has them? Is the difference in handling that dramatic? How is the general ride? I'm considering the Bilstein kit.

No one makes a coil over for the R170 that I am aware of. The shock is outside the spring. I think the R171 has a coil over in the front but not in the rear.

The advantage of coil over is that they are usually height adjustable as well as compression and rebound adjustable.

XTC sells Bilstein ones and one under their own name.

Still not a coilover. It is a shorter spring that sits on an ajustable perch and a separate rebound adjustable shock. kW has a similar set up. Both call them a coilover but you when you investigate further you'll discuss it is still a separate spring and shock.
