I've lost the supercharger on ny 2000 slk 170 (I know, I know it's under the hood). The code P1235 is defined as "fuel pump control out of range" with probable cause as "pump circuit open or shorted" or "faulty fuel pump driver module". After reading this thread I've cleaned the maf, checked the two air valves, re-soldered the K40 board and still no luck.

Any ideas?

Ok for the record, the problem turned out to be a connector wire that activated the air actuator valve. Poor contact created an intermittent response with the results being the supercharger not engaging. Thanks to the Bruce Strauss Shop in Costa Mesa for tracking down the problem.
