I have a 1997 e-420 w210, I have seen some code readers on the harbor freight website but which is the best to use? I see one that is supposedly universal but there is also one for VW and Audi, who makes the best one?

Hey, MD. Unless you want to spend a lot of money on features few will ever use, just get the 94169 at Harbor Freight. That will read and clear codes and comes with a disc of translations for the alphanumeric codes.
