Well, I've decided that it's time to buy a code puller, and I have no idea which one I should buy or where to find one. So . . . that's where the burden lies with you guys. Please chime in with your thoughts and suggestions on which one you feel I should consider buying. FYI - I've got an 02 SLK32AMG. Thanks much boys!!!

I just bought one of ebay. Same one Advance Auto sells for $100. Works fine so far.

I use this same one on the SLK and on my truck.

Pro's:
Hooks up to your existing PC (you'll want a laptop!).
Descriptive codes, not just a number.
Can clear codes (not all, but most).
Can run live/real time data when engine is running.
Can save all sorts of data to your PC.
Software updates are free and downloadable.

Con's:
Have to lug a PC into the garage.
Cost (considering all you really get is a cable and a software license)

I was thinking to either run USD cable from the office to garage or install PC in garage.
