Need help to find a new problem. Just replaced the water pump and after a few mintues of driving the CEL was on. Went back to the shop and they denied doing anything that could cause the light to go on. They turned it off and after about 10 miles it is back. the code is for "manifold absolute pressure sensor........" and I don't know where it is located and how I can check it. I search the site and I didn't find any discussion about it. Any help will be appriciated.

Got it. I found a small air pipe disconnected from the small sensor siting next to the pulley. That felt good.

Having Same Problem 2003 ML350 New Water Pump P0106

Which pulley was it? I just had my water pump replaced now my cel is one P0106 Map sensor code. Any help is appreciated. You may also call me @ 5714371613. I need to have this addressed asap.

Just changed my water pump as well and got the same error code P0106. Can you tell me where this sensor/ hose is located. By the way I got a 03 E 500 as well. Perhaps you can help me.

You have to remove MAP sensor and its bracket during pump replacement. Vacuum line to it cracked or it was left disconnected.
