This has been ongoing...
Perhaps an electrical expert knows....
Instrument cluster...turn signal on....digital odometer/trip meter/outside temp gauge/and 4 way flasker above the climate control blink.
Took the cluster out...installed it in another W140 and no blinking. Took that donor cluster in installed it in my W140 and it blinks. So..it's not the cluster...sounds like a ground issue.
Ideas as to where to start? So many ground wires to check....
Thank you all!

Yes...phamilton is helpful....he mentioned the "3 caps" needing to be replaced.
Problem is, what 3 caps does he mean?
Secondly, it's not the cluster....it has been ruled out has the problem by using another cluster (3 different clusters not blinking in other cars but blink in my car...ground issue) out of a W140 that does not "blink."
It's a ground issue in my opinion..but where?
