I think the 18x8 was a little over $600 and the 18x9 was about $630. Check out www.tirerack.com

Thanks, I did consider 19s... (more)

However, I ultimately decided that the tradeoff wasn't worth it. The only real benefit of 19s over 18s is purely aesthetic. Any handling advantage is negligible on the street. The downsides are plentiful:

1) Larger diameter = greater rotational inertia = slower acceleration.
2) Lower profile tires = harsher ride.
3) Less sidewall = prone to bent rims.

I have to dodge a lot of potholes to get to work, and my vehicle isn't a showcar, so 18s were perfect for my needs.

-Daesun
adsl-63-194-11-218.dsl.lsan03.pacbell.net

2/5 Brill...just ordered it.

It's less than $200 diff. between 19' and 18'...i hope by going with the 18' will pay off in the long term.
adsl-64-171-13-130.dsl.sntc01.pacbell.net
