I picked up my 2001 CLK 55 from evosport in Huntington Beach on Friday. They did a complete upgrade including the Kleemann compressor kit for the 55 engine. My life has comletely change. The car went from 280 hp at the wheel to 422.7 hp (Dyno tested at evosport), that's over 550hp for the magazines. This new car will keep me from working since I will driving around San Diego all day looking for a red light, clear driving and a cocky guy in his new 911 turbo. He will never no what hit him.

I will have pictures as soon as I can figure out how to use the camera.

Thanks Simon and Brad

Hey, I'm Ben. I met you friday with Brad. I assume you had a good weekend :)

Your car made me decide to do my 430 either this or next week.

I would be very interested in your feeling after having lived with this set up for a couple of days. Pro's Con's, concerns? What was the total tab and what else have done?

I've been looking into this for my 2001 CLK55 as well.

Thanks,

Alex

No complaints regarding the kit. THe only problem is the interference of the traction control system due to the dramatic increase in torque. Other than that it still rides like a mercedes and is unbelievably smooth when the compressor kits in at the high RPM.

I added the evosport suspension kit, 19' BBS wheels with Yoko tires.

cost is $25000 for entire upgrade. IF you love speed and have the cash. It is a no brainer and a definate must.

Hi, Do you know of any Kleeman dealer/install center in the east coast? I'm in New York City with a new CLK55AMG cab.
