Hi Guys,

I know it's ANOTHER post regarding a dodgy top, but I have searched the forum, and the web,
and can't seem to find my exact issue.

Its a 2004 CLK 500 (RHD)

The issue:
Top is stuck in the closed position.

If I pull the switch to open the roof, all I get is a beep, and a warning saying: Top - Visit Workshop
The windows do not drop either.

I have so far:
Checked all fuses, including the large 40A in the boot - all fine
Checked the main switch by "double clicking," it raises or lowers all 4 windows, so I assume it is ok
Replaced the pump relays with new ones, and tested those on the bench beforehand, to make sure
they are ok
Checked the hydraulic fluid level - its perfect
If I activate the switch, the relays click, but I can't hear the pump running, and as said before, I don't
even get the window drop
I had an indy check the codes for me, and it came up with:
B1928 - STORED - relates to S84/13 & S84/23 - checked with meter, both seem to be ok
B1923 - STORED - relates to S84/22 - checked this switch with a meter, all seems in order
B1075 - STORED & CURRENT - No CAN message from control unit OCP - no idea

So, that's it so far. I'm really not sure where to from here. We are officially going into a nationwide
lockdown from midnight tonight, so won't be able to get it scanned for at least 3 weeks.

Any advice or help greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone, and greetings from Cape Town! 😷

Fixed it!

This was the key:
"B1075 - STORED & CURRENT - No CAN message from control unit OCP"

That refers to the Overhead Control Panel - I checked the fuse, looked fine, but after
measuring with a meter, there was no continuation.

New fuse, and all sorted! It's fuse number 9 in the trunk/boot.
