The dealer is clueless...can anyone tell me the fix for a rt side mirror that (intermittently) will not return to normal position after rotating down/in for reverse??? The mirror has alredy been replaced twice and the dealer is out of ideas. Thx, Don.

Mirror fault
The mirror reacts to the reverse on your shifter. I would have them take a look at the wiring and the shift point on your transmission next. I notice that on my CLK that if I don't hold it sometimes, it won't grab the point where it drops. I believe that the shift point has an impact. Lastly, you know how you can select which mirror to adjust. Put it in the drivers adjust mode and see if it helps. Good luck
