hi guys i have just got back of holiday and my w208 320 clk cabriolet battery has gone flat, to power up your car if your emergency key wont open up the boot (mine just spins so no way into the boot)

get the bonnet up and look into the engine bay (this applies to uk models)
standing in front of your car to the right hand side infront of the ac box is a small black box with 4 clips on it mine has pak 6 written on it lift it off and the are 2 nuts one about 13mm the other about 10mm both located to the left hand side in the box both are + power , connect the positive jumper cable to the 13mm only.

you need to earth the negative to a suitable point in the engine bay you will power up the electrics and gain entry to your boot via the switch as normal .
i hope this helps

Hopefully that's not new information to the members here. :D

Welcome aboard.

BTW, on the fenderwell not too far from the (+) connection is a ground lug that is ideal for the connection.

When you have a chance, read through the stickies/DIYs atop the forum, there is lots of good info up there.

And please click user cp and add your vehicle and location info to your profile, it's generally useful info.

Confirmed this works, only got the ABS and BAS warning light on to bad tought was warned but had to do this today....

Again thanks and also had to drill the lock out, THAT does not work just so you all know even you drill it out you need batt on for the solenoid to work so drilling is bad choice I learned that today after having the lock smith drilling my lock out,, was Mercedes answer they do not go for the solution above and warn it can have negative effects,, learned that to lol
