Is replacing the door the best choice to restore the door to perfect

If the paint isn't broken and you have a great paintless dent removal guy, they can get it out. I had an ugly 10 inch vertical crease in my driver's door, no doubt from some idiot opening their door into mine, and I had a paintless dent artist take the crease out like nothing happened for about 150 bucks. Took him about 2 hours. LOL you do NOT need to replace the door or anything even close to that. Also, you want to try and not repaint if possible because repainted panels kill the value of your car. Hope this helps. If you're in the LA area I can give you the number of the paintless guy that has saved my car several times.

Yes, they do. I've had a crease on ex-SLK and PDR worked.
