Yes it is possible. 'Reasonable' is relative. I've heard numbers ranging from $1-2k for installation (plus the cost of the parts)<br><br>

Don't know what COMAND is selling for; upgrading the existing K2a (voice control, Timeport phone) to K2c (voice control, V60c phone) on my 01 CLK55 cost me ~$1100 (parts & labor)<br>

Both can be done...

Retrofit COMAND is not a difficult task and the phone is even easier. I retrofitted COMAND into my 2002 E55 6 months ago and it is working flawlessly. Go to the W210 Galleries and you will see some pictures of my installation. I have helped numerous people in guiding them through the installation and so far so good!!! The more difficult part of this retrofit is finding the COMAND unit. I got my from the German Ebay, www.ebay.de and many others had done so too. I paid about $550 US for my COMAND, shipping $88.00, and all the parts add up to about $1050.00 I have made numerous posting in the E55 forum and in www.mbworld.org also, under JohnAMG. Yes, you can retro-fit a Command system into your car. No, you cannot use the v60 phone you purchased from verizon. You will need a MB V60 phone. You can purchase a command system from german ebay as has been stated, another option is WWW.megacomm.de <br> <br> Ted

John, can't seem to get the old information from a CLK430 2001 with the correct timeport from Mercedes but can't seem to get it to work with the integrated car system. Connected everything including the 3 pieces on the mounting to the left truck with all the connectors including the internal fiber optic cable on the mounting and the cable/antenna to the phone in the center console which all hooked up fine. How do I get the phone to register on the car instrument monitor etc? TX Scott 2001 CLK55.
