Howdy mrclk350,
When I purchased my 07 CLK500 from Chellingworth Motors in Nedlands WA each time I started the car it would ask me to insert the navigation DVD. Long story short, I now have 2 genuine navigation DVDs for the Harman/Karman Command APS 2010. The DVD cover indicates it is compatible with;
A Class 01/05-07/08
B Class 07/08
C Class 04/04-07/07
CLC Class 10/08
CLK Class 06/04 onwards
GL Class 07/08
M Class 05/05-07/08
R Class 07/08.

DVD is Version6.0.AUSV 15.NZL V4

In theory the disc is listed as being compatible with your CLK model year and I don't require both discs. they are an insane price from Mercedes-Benz dealers and take about 3 months from date of order.
If you are game to give it a try I'm Happy to help you out. Cheers

I was under the impression that 2006 was the last year of production for the CLK500.

Hey guys, it'll work just fine as I am located in Perth, Western Australia and the discs are for Australia & New Zealand. Hence why I have a MY07 CLK 500 - Australia did not rebadge the CLK to a 550 when the 5.5 litre V8 was fitted in 06 for the "Update Model". The CLK 500 was available in Australia until year end 2009. It's the only model where the badge does not relate to motor capacity in the CLK (other than the 280 which has the 3.0 litre V6). Cheers!

I'm not sure why there as an aversion to the "550" label, but even the internal documentation in WIS, EPC and SDS refer to the 5.5l as a "CLK500 - 209.372" where the 5.0l is a "CLK500 - 209.374". I know that we tend to think of the number as the engine size, but there have been many models that don't conform to this - the 230, 240 and 280 models, and now even the 550 models are often 4.7l engines. And then there was the 2005 ML350 that used a 3.7l and even the "63" AMG models with a 6.2l.
