Does anyone know the easiest way to put the SLK 6 speed into the CLK 320? I've been told all you have to do is order it from the factory and pay a little extra and they'll put it in.<p>ccds092.countryday.net

Did the dealer tell you this ? I had the chance to get a 6spd tranny..

from a wrecked SLK 320 before. There were too many things needed to change and remove so we dropped the project.<br> <br> Off the head, we had to make a hole in the firewall for clutch, install all the linkages for it swap the engine computer, take out torque converter. <br> <br> Too much hassle and since it's not 'factory' offered, I doubt your dealer can get it for you.<p>gk.un.org
