430 I find is much more fun because it's a v8. Even though it's a 99, I like my 99, I don't really care about blinking mirrors or a newer steering wheel. I believe that a 2000 comes with one touch open sunroof, if your not picky about these minor differences then get a 430, its far more worth it I find. gl

A good friend of mine had a 99 CLK430 and he was not very happy with the quality of this model. He traded it in for an 01 S430. But of all the comments I've read concerning the CLK I would say it has a very good track record. As a matter of fact I'm considering an 03 CLK320 myself.
