Last week I pulled the dash on my 82 td. I replaced vacuum diaphragms, speakers, and eyeballed the area for water damage from a leaking windshield gasket. I also broke one of the small clips that holds the window pillar trim to the body.
I have been to the boneyard here in Nashville and there was nothing. If anyone out there has access to one of these odd looking clips I would love to buy, beg or borrow one from you.

If I find one I'll happily trade you for the clear "light tube" (clear plastic piece) that illuminates the ACC unit's fan speed buttons.

I believe he is talking about the trim that is on the A pillar. If so here is the photo..

Thanks, folks. JamesDean sent me a part# and a source. I was totally astounded that you could still get that part from a dealership.

I was just in Tennessee last summer! I meet a member from peachparts and we went to the local pnp...it was fun and I found my sun shield for the sunroof. Its in my road trip 7/21 thread if you look around my past threads. Can't say when my next trip down there will be...more then likely to pickup my buddies dad to help with the restore of the church...the odd juju coming from the place tells me I will get the property...I am both scared, nervous and happy....its like my wife is pregnant lol
