My 84 380SL will be coming home this week from paint and the first thing I want to tackle is the climate control before I reassemble the interior. I believe there are 3 components to the system, push button unit, fan speed controller and temperature controller. The push button unit I have out. I haven’t a clue where to find the temp controller or the fan speed controller. I plan to have all 3 rebuilt by Cruise Control Repair. Does anybody have photos or descriptions of where the fan speed controller and temperature controller are located?
it acts weird all the time. Sometimes I have to push defrost to get it to do anything at all. It will run full hot or full cold with the fan speed on high, but no other speed. Mono valve has been rebuilt and all vacuum pods seem to function well. I’m convinced on of the three components has failed. Thanks in advance.
