I have some smudges on my 04’s navy convertible roof that look like grease/ oil stains from a mechanic‘s fingers.

Also occasionally I have bird droppings that can be difficult to remove.

Does anyone have a cleaning product they like to use and can recommend?

I used Griot's Interior Cleaner. I also bought a cleaning brush from them. It did a great job. I also found that using Rustoleum Neverwet for outdoor canvas was a great treatment. It waterproofed the canvas and give it a nice rich color.

‘If you use Rustoleum Neverwet and it gives you a rich color are you able to spot clean or are you forced to use it on the entire top?

Use on the whole top. It makes the water bead and shed like crazy.
