I have a 2000 ML430. I had my rotors and brake pads changed about 4 months ago. I notcied when I got from park to drive, sometimes it makes a horrible clunking noise. This also happens sometimes when I brake right after changing gears.

This noise really bothers me. It sounds like its coming front the mid front bottom of my car. Any ideas?

The clunking noise you describe could be a number of things. Torsion bars, drive shaft u joints, center support bearing, etc. Without seeing the truck, it would be hard to say for sure.
