i have been conteplating on getting these wheels.. finally i got time this weekend to put the 15"s (W202) that i borrowed from my friend so i can use them while i get the 17"s refurbished. damn 15"s dont fit.. so now im stuck... thinking about getting CL65 replicas (not really diggin the brabus) the cost is about the same as refurbishing my old wheels. the only bad thing is my tires have only 4K miles on them obviously i need to get new ones for the 18"... what do you guys think are the best tire sizes for 18x8.5 +38mm offset.. or will the even fit?

those will look awesome on your silver SLK. maybe you can sell your other tyres. 4K is not many, so you may have some potential buyers

Nice looking wheels but I think 19s just look too big on the car. Maybe a drop will help.

HELP!!

which is better? 18X8.5 (1.5" lip) +38mm offsset or 18X8 (no so much lip) +37mm offset? also what sizes of tires will fit.. i still want to have a staggered look so i want to put a bit wider tires on the back even thought the wheels arent staggered. help me please. my buddy is driving down here from LA and would be good if he can pick it from there to save shipping charges. feedbacks please!

ok, looks like I'm starting to have probs with these wheels. When I drive faster than 60mph my steering starts vibrating like a mofo and the whole damn car feels like it will shake itself apart. The front is spaced 5mm but I don't think the problem is that its spaced. Perhaps the spacers were put on wrong or something. I've tried re-balancing the tires but that has done nothing except make my wallet $50 lighter. Any ideas?

maybe you have poorly designed spacers? what brand are they? also spacer can cause vibration...

also did you get your wheels balanced after the install? it could be an improper balancing and alignment job...
