Great, oh and by the way, start spraying some WD-40 on the quick disconnects of the hoses. That's the part where the strut connects to the hose.

Those will be stuck, spraying when with WD-40 on a regular basis and trying to rotate the collar will help to allow you to disconnect the line, which you'll need to do
Thanks for the tip. Will do

Hi there I was driving when I heard a hose bust on the driver's side front ..

Within less than a mile ..the car was not drivable.. it was to the ground with the wheels all the way to the wells.

For starters, can anyone recommend a Rockville MD area (or vicinity) MB mechanic who is actually FAMILIAR with C215 ABC hoses/lines replacement. I found out the hard way that many don't...

That being said,
I'm trying to guess using my pictures and based on people who experienced this before.. trying to figure out what is most likely hose that busted... I don't want to pay $400 to tow it and get it diagnosed when I can guess what hose I need.

I will replace all the hoses but will start with the busted one and the ones that require the shop. The DIYer I will tackle myself....

I am planning to mimic what was done here.. and replace as many hoses as I can (if not all) with higher pressure hoses and using the factory fittings. If anyone has upgraded to coilovers, i am interested in your old.ABC lines even if cut as long as I can use them as blueprint and reuse the fittings and build an entire set before I get the car tower hence no downtime as the Indy Shop. As you can guess I plan to retain the superb ABC... Superb when it works!!

Based on the above pictures it is possible to narrow down and determine which hose busted? The car is to the ground so I cannot lift it to see. I've ordered an ultra low Jack but meanwhile I'd anyone can shed the light for me....

Thank you!!!
Get Triple AAA

They'll tow for like $120 and you get 4 free towing a year

That's much much worth it

Hi there

Getting this car towed would cause more damage than my heart could take. Two flat beds drivers with a lot of experience tried to pick up the CL...and they ended up cracking my front bumper... The car is sitting too low and the space is very tight in the driveway. I will try third tow truck driver who has a dolly that he can put on each of the wheels and raise them up a little bit but I have to wait... another week

That being said, I took another stab at identifying the source of the leak. It seems to be way up right under the one of the tanks... I still couldn't find any damaged hose after running my hands on each of the houses that I could reach..

Can any of you guys determine anything from this video? Link to VDO (114mb)

Check the connections of the accumulator that is connected to the valve body.
I've had it that the threads didn't seal properly and the metal lines of the valve block started to drip

Uh oh. I hear and feel a knocking underneath when I corner "semi" hard. Like a thump. Not normal. Is it?

I think that might be the valves in the valve body that are oscillating. Have you done a rodeo before?
Also, monitor the system pressure whilst you are cornering hard, that could give an indication.

I do understand where you are coming from, but it's better to have another hose burst whilst doing rodeo, than when driving 100mph on the highway, right?
Touché.. :)
On a serious note, I was thinking of replacing most hoses and get it over with.

Ah, if you do plan on doing the rodeo mode you may want to expect more issues as it does over pressure the system and will pump the crap that has settled in the system into and around the valve blocks. Fun stuff that is to clean.

I don't think rodeo will overpressure the system as the pressure control valves are not regulated electronically.

It just puts a high load on the system, as you'd expect from such a test
