Question, what are the differences between the CL65 and the CL600?

I'm finding 2003 CL600s as low as $24K. I found a 2005 CL65 for $42K. Both with less than 50,000 miles. Both with clean Carfax reports.

What does the additional $18K buy? So far I figure, HP and AMG package. I'd assume brakes and suspension also. But if the CL600 was $120K new and the CL65 was $190K new there must be more to it.

First off you are comparing an 03 to a 05 so there is a price difference between the 600s already, much less a 600 to a 65.

Thanks Austinite, I stopped by a dealer last night and they told me the only difference was the AMG engine, wheels and body trim.

...and the transmission and "paddle shifting" and the AMG seats and calipers - rotors-brakes. The rear fenders are a bit deeper inside and you can fit 305s easily but not in the 600

I just purchased an 05 CL 65 and it's a blast. I'm getting some work done under warranty due to a check engine light and trying to find the plugs - or a place to buy them cheaper than the $24\ea price at the dealership - since there are 24 of them. But, I want the matching plugs. Searching now....anyone know what the plug number is? I don't have my owners manual here at work. I have the MB part number of 004159-1403. It is probably a Bosch, but not sure. I may have to drive to the dealership and have them pull one off the shelf....but I'd rather buy them online for cheaper if I can. They probably don't have to be changed at 40K miles (even with a misfire code), but the mechanic is going to be in there anyway so labor will be $0.
