I came across some accounts of Duragloss 501 for a mainly chemical (and very lightly abrasive) removal of oxidation, and then Duragloss 601 to seal/bond. Has anyone here tried at least the 501? From what I gathered, it leaves the anodizing in tact--an ideal outcome.

This thread is relevant to me, I would buy Kent's "miracle" concoction, but with shipping it's more than $130(USD)! If anyone can post any before and after success stories, please do.

No easy cure for this . My BMW 7 series that i had with the same problem going back 15 years ago , it drove me mad . I did everything i knew .Took it back to Bmw i was told at by them that , at some time the car had been washed in the hot sun with a chemical cleaner, not dried off but left to dry in the hot sun light . And i found like the post above that a wipe over with WD 40 was as good as it gets ,,other than replacement.
