hello I am in debate over these two tires. (look link below) need some opinion on these. 60 dollar rebate sounds sweet deal but sounds too good? something fishy going on? my previous owner fitted with the tiger paw. the advertisement claim that they will last up to 130000km on tiger paw and little over 100000 for good year. but I doubt that they will last that long on our beastly heavy W140. what is low rolling resistance? meaning worse braking distance while saving fuel??

Which tyres? The link is just a link to a website home page.

I can't believe that any tyre would last 130,000 km (unless it's the spare and not actually rolling on the road). I'd just advise to buy the best brand you can afford. When I bought an SL500 recently the dealer had put some cheapo brand of tyres on it. They said "Z rated" but the effect at 150mph on the autobahn was positively scary. I replaced them with some Yokohama AVS Sports and the car was transformed.

I don't know which Goodyear tyre you're looking at - but if it's the winter tyres then I found Goodyear Ultra Grip 7s worked REALLY well on my W126.

Please post a meaningful link then we know what you're talking about :)

for the link not working I didnt know it wont work It was working for me when I posted. I am trying to get Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max or Uniroyal Tiger paw Touring or BFGoodrich Traction T/A Spec or Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring. But I am trying to go with goodyear assurance fuel max cause they are well known brand and it claims to save fuel and has 60dollar rebate when purchased 4 tires. but then again no one knows if they actually saves fuel or not.
