I am looking at a 2009 A 160 Diesel Auto 18000 miles. I tet drove it and found it a bit Gutless. As the Spec was ideal I thought of chipping it to bring it up to A 180 performance. The Engine blocks are identical. Spoke to MB in
Milton Keynes to check if the Auto Box was the same. Found the 160 is 6 speed
the 160 5 Speed. Spoke to the Chip people "Chip Express" who told me that it would work equally well with either the 6 Speed or 5 Speed Autobox.
Does anyone have any experience of chipped A 160 Diesel Auto? Or any other
useful input.
